Xtrac Thatcham

This is our latest project with SDC to build an extension to the existing factory floor. The new building is around 1500m2 and and is constrctued off a vibro piled matt. There were a few hold ups along the way caused by identified asbestos in the ground and additionaly the fuel tanks.

Eventually the main build went ahead with piling and pad foundations. KCC ten completed the under slab drainage and prepared the floor slab for power float construction with a shake topping.

External works commenced with additional yard slabs and a large pond with concrete headwalls. Final works consisted of slab paving and dozing the spoils in the adjacent field.
