Quad 1 Harwell

Our first project for SDC Construction in Harwell, Oxfordshire. This development is built over an historic location, During the late 1940 and onward this was the main development area for the first nuclear reactors in the world.

KCC were contracted to build 2 new structures, a 3 storey science lab and a Pavillion for the Cafe and eatery. Works are progressing well with drainage currently ongoing.

Soak away is now installed and completed and we have began digging the external ring beam.

Shuttering and Caltite concrete also completed to the lift pit.
